The film contains 3 stories each connected by a stray cat running in and out of scenes. Blue Underground can always be relied upon to give us a quality transfer. The third story really throws the movie out of whack.
Cats is a horror. A trio of moggy-linked Stephen King tales two of them adapted from his own short stories the final section a celluloid original. As we approach the novels 30th anniversary its hard to think of many characters who have endured pain like Atwoods.
There is quite a bit of creep factor here in a lot of ways. PG-13 1 hr 34 min Apr 12th 1985 Horror Thriller. Stephen King tales follow a cat into a smokers clinic onto a penthouse ledge and into a girls Drew Barrymore bedroom.
And too much of a kids movie for its target audience. And so the subject of the movie seems to be the seductiveness of evil but thats not because of any complexity in the stories there is none its because of the fine acting in the villain roles. Cats Eye is one of my favorite Stephen King related films.
