Review Cats Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut Jr. God playfully sends out His creation to follow endless rabbit trails. It requires a lot of understanding of symbolism and good connection skills.

While the plot is entertaining and the ideas worth contemplating it was really Kurts voice that propelled me through the story. In the end Cats Cradle is a highly imaginative work of satire. It is somewhat amusing in a wry way and quite enjoyable.

First published 1963 Vonnegut is not for everyone and I suspect many would find him far too cynical to truly enjoy. I mean I guess its kinda funny but not like Im laughing or anything. Mar 04 2012 Julia Saboya rated it it was amazing.
